But, Cheryl Wakerhauser, Wine Scholar Guild Champagne Master and curator of the World’s Best Champagne List from World of Fine Wine for 9 years, will tell you why there is a time and a place for champagne all year round, at the dinner table, the picnic table and the beach. This class will explore the regions and styles of champagne, as well as the complicated aging process that brings not just bubbles, but the characteristic toasty aromatics that have become synonymous with champagne….with NO Power Points! You’ll also learn to open a bottle of champagne like a pro…with a sword.
$150 includes a tasting of 8 wines including older vintages; 15 students per class.
